An informal meeting was held at the Union Bank of Halifax, Windsor, Nova Scotia, to discuss the possibility of forming an indoor curling rink in Windsor. Those in attendance were: J.A. Russell, R. C. Wright, R. Paulin, F.W. Dimock, F.T. Handsomebody, J.W. Blanchard, F.F. Murhpy, W. H. Roache, Rev. M Crawford, Rev. H .A. Harley. "A proposal was made by F.W. Dimock to the effect that he would lease to the club propose, without compensation, sufficient ground to erect a curling rink. If the club put up such a building the probable cost of WCC would be about $300.00", he would buy it back at an appraised value after four or five years. A committee was formed consisting of three people to solicit "subscriptions to stock" and to find members for the club with a membership fee of $5.00 per year.
